Team Duty C-Note: It's sorta like Jury duty.... Except you get called up outta the blue to take one for the team once every couple of years or so.
You are excused from work for that day and you help a member of your peers in need.
"Where's Katherine?" "She's out for team duty.. got the notice in the mail last week."
"Hey Boss I'm taken one for the team today... please forward my calls to voice mail."
