Dead beat dad looking4advice: I have been divorced now for 2yrs...In my divorce I was granted 101.40 a wk for 2boys. One being 14 the other being 10. I do make more money than he does. He claims he don't make anymore than he did when we got divorced. Yeah like I believe that one. Anyway. I can't get him to do anything or help me out. School, school fee's, school clothes, not to mention supplies and lunches. No one can force him to be a dad this I know...he only takes them on his wknd and that would be fri, he don't get them til Sat when he gets up and then brings them back by sun at 5. Wow...Thats alot. My 14yr won't even go to his house. Anyway I'm asking is there anything I can do legally to him to make him be a part of them, have a judge see that 100 a week cant raise kids....I need help.
Re: Dead beat dad snkpack: Submit a modification request to your local child support office. They will request he fill out financial information and reevaluation your support.
Re: Dead beat dad sparks: Unfortuanatly, the only thing you can do is go to court to ask for more child support. I have been divorced for a year and he pays the child support but thats about it. Everytime I ask for help with anything outside food clothing and shelter he always asks, "isnt that part of child support." I dont ask anymore. I will take care of my kids the best that I can and reap the rewards in the end.
