I got a job!!!! BobFromAcctg: I start work next monday. I can hardly believe it!
I lost my job (contract position) the end of july and have been out of work the month of august. 6 months before my job ended I started looking for more work and found nothing in my home town. One week before the end a company here in town put out a request for 8 programmers and shock of shock, I got hired!
I have been contracting since 1997 and as of monday morning I will be a real employee again! The reduction in my medical premiums alone will be a $600 a month increase!
horray!! I can hardly wait!!
