One buddy of mine asked me on Tuesday "Have you given up all hope?"
What he meant was "Have you given up all hope of her coming back"....
WTF
I responded "Have I lost hope?? Hell no!!! I'm very hopeful for the future. She's just not in it. I decided not to allow her back 6-7 weeks ago. I've given myself as much say in this as she has now."
I guess I'm just venting a bit. I wish friends could be supportive of us individuals without being sympathetic that we aren't married any more.

But yeah, the "I'm very hopeful for the future. She's just not in it." thing made me laugh, because that's exactly how I am right now. Plans, plans, plans. Almost to a fault. I explained to a friend of mine that i'm making plans for the future all the time because the past and present suck. Best to hope for the future than be haunted by the past at this point. :)

Actually, I haven't Spike. Been really fortunate there. She cut off all contact with any mutual friends...every one of them. No one has heard from her.
I think she's still in town but I have made zero effort to find out where she lives, if she's working, etc. She's her own problem now. The same guy I mentioned above can't believe I haven't hired a PI to find out where/when/why. Hopefully he never has to find out why...........
