In the case of ojar, I'd say it could mean that. Or with some, I think it is disguising one's former identity (so people don't know who you really are/were). Like if there is a stalking situation. (Actually i wanted goose to stop stalking me :D )

Re: Ok, who the heck are you people?? LostTeacher: i've thought about changing my name, becuase i am not totally "lost" anymore, but until i feel like i am completely a new person, it still suits my personality.
and because i don't care to hide this other personality, this is my handle on a number of sites. my ex knows nothing about it, and even if he did, i wouldn't care.
i like LostTeacher....it's who i am, and who i have been for a long time....

I only use this one to keep a little tighter security, X knows what other name to search for. I also watch what I say, anything she might do a search on I either don't post or mispell so it won't come up in any search results. I'm should have a sig pic on the way. I decided to give EQ a shot and see what she could come up with for me, haven't got it yet though. I hope I'll get it soon enough to keep it a while. Not that I'm trying to hint at anything her in case she reads this. ;)
