For those thinking of leaving or cheating! sneaker: Why the hell do people wait until they fall out of love instead of taking charge when the problems arise? No matter who's fault it is, leaving or cheating is never the answer! I don't want to reignite the debate, but I don't get it. There's something wrong in the relationship? Throw it in their face. Make it a matter of life or divorce. Take a break, a few days off. Get counselling. Find a way for God's sake. Problems don't just go away.
What frustrates me is people complaining about their situation and not doing anything about it. Not true, they do something...wait and leave! Maintaining a relationship takes work. WORK! Even when everything seems fine. Just little things here and there, everyday.
But no, you get people leaving because the grass is always greener. But then it's not and they come back to add to the mess they've created. To often the leavees or the cheated on were not aware of the problem or how much it affected their S/O. If they knew their marriage was about to end they would have done something. And that's my point. Make sure they know! And don't give me that 'well, I mentioned it a few weeks ago...' When words don't work. Take actions!
Of course I'm not taking about extreme cases where there's violence for instance.

it is called the path of least resistance. It takes a lot of work and will to make a marriage work... hooking up with an exciting new love is so much more fun! The kids will be just FINE! How can something that feels so good be wrong?? ;)
