OMG!!! LostTeacher: so tonite, a friend and i had heard that there was going to be a fireman's auction at a club we go to all the time. i decided to drive, and we were going to go check it out. we weren't going to spend any money, we just wanted to see what was going on.
so we get there, and find out it's like a silent auction...the kind where you buy so many tickets, put them in a bucket, and wait for them to get drawn. there were 6 guys, and each came with a different "date" package.
well, my friend and i ended up buying $20 worth of tickets. we didn't really think anything of it, and the money was going to a good charity, the Firefighter's Childrens Burn Fund. so we bought our tickets, hung out, chatted with some people and waited for the draw.
AND I WON A DATE WITH A FIREMAN!!!!!!
i can't believe it!! i actually won one of the dates!!!
it includes a dozen roses, a dinner at a smaller local restaurant, and mine included a horse-drawn carriage ride. but my firefighter told me we could do a ride on one of the fire trucks if i wanted!!
so now i have to get myself ready for this "purchased" date!!
i have laughed so hard tonite, that my stomach hurts. and it's almost 2am, and i have to be up at 9am to help my grandma move. i have to get to bed!
i just don't believe this............

Re: OMG!!! LostTeacher: i have to say this....he was by far not the hottest fireman out there....but he was nice, and cute in his own way, and super sweet.
the only problem was, he was totally bombed. and i mean trashed. but almost all of them were. they were able to drink for free, and most of them were very embarassed and nervous. so he was a bit difficult to understand.
but....now i wait for the girl who ran the whole thing to call me with his schedule, and we set a date.
i still can't believe that this just happened! i am still laughing about it!
