I went through this as well.....too many times ::)
I also got back together secretly quite a few times.....just because I didn't want to hear it.....not that I would have listened anyway ::)
I can say this.....I sure wish I HAD listened. Not EVERYBODY can be wrong.....at least its not likely. But I also know that its your decision....and nothing anybody says is going to change your mind.
Do what you have to do...but do remember....the people who love you and care about you only want whats best for you.....if you feel the need to hide what you are doing from them...then maybe you already know its not whats best for you.
I hope I'm wrong...really I do...and I wish you all the best....but thats just my thoughts :)

Re: I don't want to tell anyone jannette Garcia: Ohh boy I feel exactlly like you feel, only I did tell my family that we are reconciling and they keep making little comments about how he is not good for me....yada yada yada....and to be honest I hate it. They get on my nerves, they think that because I'm young they can control me, I feel like they dont trust me to make my own decisions...so if I was you I would def. keep it quiet for a while....then if you know for you it'll work out then tell them, in the meantime dont tell them anything bad about him and focus on the good things....hopefully they'll come around eventually

Re: I don't want to tell anyone newts: Your "true" friends and family will love you and support you no matter what your decision is. Tell them, if you knew this was the right thing to do you wouldn't have any problems telling the people close to you, no matter what the consequences.
Just telll them, you really want this to work and he is making such an effort to please you which gives you a lot of security and hope, tell them you don't know whether it will last another day, another month, another decade, another century, however, you want to see it through.
If they truly love you they will understand, doesn't mean they have to like it, they will just honor your commitment to him out of pure love for you.
