how can two people getting divorced have such great sex? Wherezmygun: Ok so tonight I dont know what happened. I was over at the STBXW house helping with getting everything ready for my sons birthday party 2marrow. we were getting along great, seemed like old times. she got home from work, we talked, just about her day at work, my day with the boys you know normal stuff.. she even huged me and i almost made her pee herself by tickleing her. well we decided that i should spend the night so that i can be here in the morning to start getting everything ready for the party.
I dont even know how it started, but as soon as we were upstairs things just clicked and we were kissing and huging. then you know the rest. it was amazeing like it was when we 1st met. i dont know what got into her tonight but it was like she was in love with me.
When we were done and just laying there in our bed i tryed to hold her ad she told me not to get weird on her just because we had made love. Ouch! i dont know what to think. I love this woman so much and what happened tonight was so awsome, it felt so right, but i dont know if she did it just to make up for what she has done and is doing to our family of if she truely wanted me but cant let herself enjoy it after the fact.
So now here i am down stairs talking to yall and shes up in bed sleeping. Im not tired because...well because im never tired and im used to being up at this time. anyone got any insite on this?
hope in mot out of line posting this here but i wanted to talk about it. anyone else have the same thing happen with the and the Ex/STBX?
Re: how can two people getting divorced have such great sex? Whirlpool: Pretty much breaks every rule in the book sleeping with her brother, now you know why. She could have done it for many reasons, but the last thing you should be thinking is she did it to reconcile. I don't blame you though, I have thought of how great it would be to have sex with the ex, but I also KNOW I would be depressed as hell after. To compare I just went on a cruise with her, we had a great time even with zero intimacy. It was fun but after it was over only served to confuse me more, how can we enjoy each other so much but she still does not want to be with me? You must feel the same now.
Anyway, enough rambling, bottom line is now you know why it is advised you don't sleep with an ex when you are the dumpee. They have nothing to lose, you do.

Re: how can two people getting divorced have such great sex? kitkat: Inked. Try to not let it get to you. I can't really add to much to what WP posted except one thing. When stbxh and I separated and I was talking to girlfriends about being horny their advice was to use stbxh for sex. WTF!?!
I care enough about him and myself to not confuse things that way. I can see how it would be easy though. You know each other intimately, there probably is still some level of emotion there (both ways) & it's not having to find someone new with all the risks that entails.
It's best not to go there though. The boundaries need to be clear sometimes. For sanity's sake if for no other reason.

We had about 6 weeks of very dry conversation and then, after his dad's wedding last weekend we've done "it" three times. Best Sex in 10 years. Then, Thursday morning when he left he brought his rubbers with him, I asked him why and he said
"Well, Bella, ya never know"
