Marriage Certificate Burning partyq Magenta Bella: Well, I have developed a new hatred - almost overnight - for my ex. May I propose that we all make photocopies of our marriage certificates (as we may need them for legal reasons in the future) and grab some wedding photos, letters of a love thats past and BURN THEM.
My mom had a mortgage burning party once, and it was a ton of fun.
So, we ought to set a date - say Halloween - gather up everything and BURN BABY BURN.....

I will never revisit that stuff. I have taken a few things from our marriage and put them in a box for the kiddos, but as for stuff for me, nope it’s gone. On Sept 25, it will be final. I'm going to celebrate as if it’s my birthday the following weekend, one big divorce party.
