Don't Blame Me If You Forget
.

Don't Blame Me If You Forget startingover: l called to remind the stbx that the kid's open house is tonight and I got an earfull as to how I didn't tell him about it and that I need to write these things down for him.  WTF, I shouldn't have to hold his hand.

I DID inform of the open house when he dropped R off from ballet class last week, handed him the flier and we discussed it before he left, it is not my fault he forgot.

The last thing I heard before I ended the call was a snide "There goes my dinner."

Next time I won't bother with a phone call.

Re: Don't Blame Me If You Forget PennyLane: I got the same shit last year.  My ex would say "you need to sign me up for stuff when you sign up for stuff" (at my daughters school)  I was like......Hell no.  You have the same schedule I do.  Sign yourself up for stuff.

At this point, I don't remind him of meetings etc.  He's a big boy with the same info I have.  If he can't write it down and remember it, that's his loss.

Don't babysit him tatter, it's not your responsibility.  You should of told him, "don't worry about it, stay home and enjoy your dinner"

Well he will find a "New" Mama soon...

She'll put up with him about as well as you have

Then send him Packing...

I think when we are young we are Naive per se and let people in our lives that never should have been

We spend "so" long with them because of the commitment thing and Marriage sometimes...

When we really need to make "us" happy

How many years of our lives have been wasted on people like this...

Find someone...
Be happy...

If they cause you more pain than happiness then drop them like a bad habit and move on

IMO

Re: Don't Blame Me If You Forget alonewith2: Open house...they should call it mad house.  :o  We had that at P's school last night too.

I don't tell P's dad about everything that goes on at the school.  I share his report cards, his progress, and a few other things with his dad.  I figured if his dad really wanted to know about the rest, he'd ask.

Don't let it worry you, Trapped.  It's not up to you to schedule your ex's functions.  He's a big boy now.  ;)
