Re: what about YOU turns people off? fly: My sarcastic wit -- some people just can't see the humor it in.
I have the ability to rant on a topic I feel passionate about.
I am high energy and can usually be found laughing when I am out
I am independent
I am goofy
I like to blow off steam at the bar and then the next day may want to just look at the sunset and dream.
I am sensitive if I think you are hurting my feelings on purpose.

These are the things that some men can't seem to wrap there head around.

Na, I don't think they're looking for push-back.  I think they're looking for active contribution to the relationship.  It's exhausting to always be the one with the ideas.

When I complained to X about this, he said "but whenever we try something I've thought of, it goes wrong, and everything you come up with is great."  Argh - that just meant he needed more practice, and I didn't care if things "didn't work out" the way he'd planned.

Re: what about YOU turns people off? superwife: Hmmm, that's a good question.  Maybe you should ask all the guys I've dated  :P

I talk a lot, and say what's on my mind.

I can be sarcastic.

I have a kid that is high maintenance, who is home every weekend with me  ???

I am not yet divorced (and have no idea when I will be  ???)

I am pale (yes, I have heard this...sorry, not risking painful sunbrun and skin cancer to please you).

I am too comfortable talking about my ex (this does not mean I am not over him or want him back(

I have no probelm telling people I don't believe them or trust them (so yeah, I have trust issues).

Re: what about YOU turns people off? ctrlaltdelete: I am:

- opinionated
- independent
- emotional
- analytical
- not always trusting
- not in very good shape (i have 3 kids - gimme a break)

Frankly, I don't care if people like me or not. It's only their opinion and has nothing to do with who I am or how I live my life. Nobody's perfect. I just thank God that I am alive. He made me this way for a purpose so who am I to question it?

Ah but I DID contribute!  I had no problem coming up with ideas and was happy to share them.  So that's why I don't understand it.  That's why I believe they just wanted pushback from me. I'm not saying everyone is like that.... but in MY experience, they've been that way.
