Re: Hold On - it gets better ezydriver: minneapolis, May I ask, have you felt at all in the last two years a fancy for anybody else? An attraction? A strong one? If so did it suprise you? Are you completely over your ex? I think it would be nice if you could tell us all a little about your journey, milestones, any new loves etc.. This would be appreciated by me, and all here and give us all a little hope.

It's been 2 months for me and I'm not in a good place yet. I'm very happy for you though. It's good to hear words of encouragement. When going through someone leaving you and feeling all the emotions of lonliness, emptiness, rejection etc... (i'm sure you felt these too right?) It's good to be reminded that we can get through this dark time and life can once again get better and happy.
Hold On - it gets better minneapolis: It's been almost 2 years since my ex dropped the bomb that he was leaving. One year since the divorce was official. I spent a lot of time on ojar during the first year. I just wanted to come back to tell you all who are still in the early stages that it does get better. I'm on the other side now, beckoning to y'all. Keep going. Keep pushing through. One day at a time. You too, will end up here on the other side.
It's taken nearly two years but now I can look back and say, "You know, that sucked. But I'm happy now. I've learned a lot b/c of it - about myself, about people, about relationships, about communication. And I wouldn't change it for the world."
Hold on. Just keep holding on.

I'm so happy for you and truly proud to hear how much you've learned. I'm not there yet but I would not trade what I have gone through for anything either - I feel stronger by the day.
