That's the key.
My stbxwife left me in Jan 06. I spent many months giving her space and yet still showing her that I wanted to work things out. I planned some great dates, I was really the model boyfriend (couldn't really call it a husband anymore...). I worked my ass off to get her back, but she would have none of it. Very cold, showed no interest in me, regardless of what I did.
Bottom line, IMO, there was nothing in our marriage that we couldn't have fixed and had a great marriage/relationship. Except for the fact that she didn't want it.

Exactly the way my situation is / was....I feel for you....it is really hard to get past that and start healing...
