I don't know how much more I can take! ATLGIRL777: I am sooo upset, just got all my paperwork for the loan for my house and nothing is what they said it would be!!! Payment is way higher and I cannot afford it! I feel so defeated, nothing has gone right for me in a year!!! Why can't this one thing work? I want this house so badly!!! I am just tired of this.....I feel like everytime something seems to be going right a wrench get's thrown into it! I just don't know how much more I can take! My divorce, my grandma passing, my aunt trying to committ sucide and now this. I am just worn out! :'(

Look at your tag...what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Take a few minutes to vent about this, but then take another look at things. I was terrified that i would not be able to afford my place either. when I moved from my roommates house, i was faced with an extra $250-300 a month in expenses for my new place.
And you know what? It worked out. It worked out fine, and I still have plenty of money left over.
Things will be fine, put them in their proper perspective, and read again what NSCA said...the house is a material thing. Don't let it eat at you.

Are there first time homebuyer or single parent programs in your area?? How much of a difference is the payment. Lay out everything calmly and see if you can find the answer hun. Hang in there.
