Re: Had a great date last night chaotic: I was using 24 because thats what SW used.
I try to stick with the 2 day rule...But sometimes screw up and call 1 day after....It worked once but failed about a month later.
Are we all confused yet?
Re: Had a great date last night confused101: What drives me crazy is this. They contact you. You agree to go out. You go out. You enjoy each other. Other person is clearly into you. Other person states they are afraid to get hurt and hold back (investment into a relationship). You do everything possible to ensure that will not be the case, although there is no way you can guarantee that they won't get hurt unless you have a life long marriage. Without guarantee they have guard up for long long time, overreact to little things. Then say sorry. But little overreactions add up, and things start fitting into their fears. You get tired of having to prove yourself. You start to back off. Their fears become justified. Wash, rinse, repeat.
It's enough to drive a man insane.
Re: Had a great date last night So_Lost: Not just that, but when you do call... dont say "Hey I have been thinking about you non stop since we went out. I had so much fun. I just cant get you out of my mind. you are so funny... bla bla bla slobber slobber slobber..."
Play it cool... "Hey "name", I really had a nice time with you the other night. Would you like to get together again soon? Yes? Great! When are you free?"
Short, simple, no blathering idiot syndrome.
Re: Had a great date last night chaotic: Funny most of my phone conversations start in my head very short and concise. I plan to leave a message...>Then they answer and I become the blathering idiot.
Re: Had a great date last night So_Lost: Did you ever see swingers? I swear I picture Chaotic doing the Jon Favreau call routine...
