Residental custody=no child support payments for me. I'm being nice by offering her alimony. Really, she doesn't have any grounds for it since we were married for only 4 years. I offered to pay off my car and give it to her..but that's only because I'm nice and I only owe like $1500 on it now. It'll be paid off next June.
The stbx and I had discussed a $3g payoff. It makes me laugh though, she's been looking for a job for almost 2 months now. Our town has little unemployment..she just can't find a job because she's not looking. She thinks she's going to get me to pay her way now...

I was married for only 4. I guess I'm lucky that the only thing we really are sticking on is custody of our child, but I think that's being sorted out, we have an emergency order in place and it seems to work for both of us..so that might be sorted too.. but her lawyer is a dink and her mother is..for lack of a better name, Satan..so who knows what her head's being filled up with now..
My house was a pre-maritial asset..she can claim special equity but she probably won't get it if she tried.
