It doesnt feel like home anymore vdc_1975: I moved out 2 weeks ago into my own apartment about 5 miles away.
I have been back to the old apartment a few times, to see the kids and talk with her about the boys. Everytime I sit down there, I feel like Im in a strangers home. Its very weird, its almost surreal.

I try to visit the kids at the ex's place once a week, and I pick them up every other weekend, but it's very very odd when I walk through the door....I found myself ringing the doorbell the first time, and I stood there for a moment just thinking "Wow, this feels really weird..."

You must feel sick to your stomach.... It hurts like crazy and you just want to throw yourself at their mercey!

MY kids yes, my wife no. I miss my boys alot, but I enjoy being out on my own for the first time ever in my life. The apartment her and them live in just feels like a completely alien environment to me.
