My plans are thwarted twine: Well tomorrow night is spose to be the second date with a woman i have known a little while.My stbxw was spose to have the children from tomorrow noon till sunday evening, now she phones me and says that she won't be taking them (no reason told to me).I have a couple options but not to sure which route to go.
OPTION ONE... change plans and have her to my house for supper and movies....i don't really want to do this cause i don't want my kids getting to know anyone i date until i know the time is right.
OPTION TWO... hire a babysitter, i don't really want to do this cause i would feel selfish going out and dumping my kids on a sitter, also the sitters are expensive.
Any other suggestions, i don't really want to cancel the evening.
Re: My plans are thwarted FreakingOut: Have any parents or friends that the kids are comfortable with close by? Maybe a friend who knows what's going on and wants you to have a good time and is cool around kids?

I know its expensive..but treat yourself and have a good time.. besides a happier dad makes for happier kids ya know?
