Today I am broken lookin4alite: Hi All,
This is the week I am feelin broken. I kicked her out at the end of June because I discovered her with the OM she had an affair with back in January. It wasn't over, no matter what she said. She stayed with him 2 weeks and he kicked her out. And I did the pathetic thing of letting her come stay with me and our 3 kids. She told me she was getting an apt soon. Well after a week home she is back to her antics again. She goes out at 10pm and stays out late or she comes home from work late. I know she is seeing him. I can't trust her. I hate being pathetic like this, I know we are not going to reconcile but I have a soft side for her. I am such a loser for feelin this way. I have been readin more than posting and realize this site has given me strength on a daily basis, but today I need words of encouragement
Re:Today I am broken incoherentlonghorn: Although I never experienced the cheating spouse, my heart goes out to you. It is incredibly considerate that you're allowing her to live in the house after her actions.
I can remember how frustrating it was dealing with someone when trust is broken. Hmm when kids are involved it still is frustrating. Your picture of Calvin really says it all.
But your heart will mend, your life will move on even if you're not ready, and it just takes one day at a time.
Hang in there and keep your wits about you!
HUGE Longhorn HUGS!

Re:Today I am broken Lumpy: Don't mean to seem harsh but....KICK HER OUT ON HER ASS ASAP!!!!! Save yourself a lot of pain. You are sending her the wrong message. Is it ok to treat you and your children as an afterthought? Defend yourself. Let her reap what shes sown.
Re:Today I am broken Safetykc: Come out here for support anytime and you are NOT A LOSER!!!!
Don't beat yourself up...you are in system shock and as someone who was cheated on I know what that was like...
Hang in there and breath in the strength of the knowledge it does get better and WILL get better.
Hang tough man....
