Re:Found an Old Christmas Card Safetykc: Ya those cards suck...
After D day I found a handmade one, my X did crafting, from our last Valentines where she put, Happy 1st Valentines my love, looking forward to a lifetime more....
The irony of the fact that she was messing around with someone a few months later and then we split wasn't lost on me when I read the card. LOL
Glad I can laugh about it now...
Sigh...
Big Hugs to me... ;)

Re:Found an Old Christmas Card brokenman: Its both funny and sad. I found out about my ex's boyfriend right before my 30th birthday. Well, me being someone who always wore a really cheap "gold" rope chain my ex went and got me a real one for my birthday. During the divorce she actually asked why I never wear it. "DUH! You bought it when you had a boyfriend!" I haven't gotten around to it, but I hope to get some nice cash out of eBay for it.
Re:Found an Old Christmas Card leem03: Isn't it sad how things change like that. I mean what would those Christmas cards say this year? I hope Santa brings you a lump of coal!
It really is sad to know that so many of us had all of these wonderful feelings for our spouses just a short time ago & now it's all mixed up with adultery, abuse, and just plain unhappiness. I mean when does it all change? How does one someone how from being happy to all of a sudden unhappy with the person they promised to love till death do us part??
Crazy it is this thing we call love!!
Re:Found an Old Christmas Card DOC: people change. at least that's the poor excuse these selfish people with no morals use. sorry if i sound bitter, just got served today.
Re:Found an Old Christmas Card SherylLynn: We split 1 month after our anniversary. Our anniversary cards were all over the house. Actually, so were all the fathers day cards my daughter created.
I boxed them up and put them away. What do you do with that stuff? I can't throw it away yet, and the stuff our daughter made is too precious... oh well.
During the clean up stage, I did find one card from the OW to my husband telling how much she loved him.
That one got burned!
