Long time no speak...and my own personal news dominowin: Hello Ojar,
Well, it's been months since I last posted (not sure how many of you even remember me!) but I have some news that I thought would be worthwhile to share with you all.
My backstory -- separated February 2003, divorce final December 2003. I left. Anyway, I am a freelance magazine writer by day and a singer/songwriter -- well, the rest of the day and night. I just released a new independent CD called Semi Broken Heart that is basically about my breakup, but I thought that perhaps other people on the board might relate to a lot of the lyrics. In fact, there are several songs that I feel like only the divorced can truly understand, and I was definitely inspired by many people right here on OJar.

And thank you all again for your support this year and last -- I've been enjoying a new relationship for the past four months and am feeling very positive and good. Believe me when I say things get better.

I really liked Happily Ever After and Changes a lot. You have probably hear this before, but your voice sounds like Aimee Mann's. I hope the comparison doesn't piss you off. It still sounds unique.
