I don't know if you ever really know if it's really over in your heart. My x cheated on me with some tramp with no job. I was devistated. For weeks I bent over backwards to try to make it work, using the kids, councelling, being too nice...none of it made a dent. He just pretended to break up with her. 2 weeks later he just left. but kept coming by to see the kids and would tell me "i'm thinking about coming home" He would say anything just to give me an ounce of hope that things would get better. One day within month 2 something in me snapped. I just couldn't take the back and forth, it was ruining me. So this week, I filed for divorce. It was the most liberating thing I've done. It feels like i have finally taken the power away from him.
I'll bet you have a lot going for you. A lot more than when you met and that is the perfect time to start over.
The best advice I ever got was, "you are at the perfect age and time in your life to start over"
When you start to believe it - it's so powerful!

Re:when do you know its really over in your heart sarao525: I know he is not physically with her, but it still hurts to have him have a baby with her.
My children are acting out, and he doesn't care. He never calls them, or wants extra time with her.
I just wish I could find a way to win his heart back. I wish we could start over and fall in love all over again.
