You know... that this is partially the nature of the beast. The half told truths and stories that we retell based on what we remember based on how we feel at the moment.
These lead to the rumor mills, which more often than not lead to their own less than accurate stories that snowball out of control. Stories that lead us to draw our own conclusions and link events that couldn't be less alike when we only have bits and pieces of what's really going on. Yea, that damn rumor mill eventually bites everyone in the ass...
