The devil is so bad lusciouslips30: I got up this morning, said my prayers and drew up a chart with the days making my resolution that I would not contact the ex. Then lo and behold an hour later he calls me, (we two kids together), he wants me to give him some cash to pay some shoes his sis bought for my eldest daughter who lives with him, so I tell him I do not have it. Then he goes on to say anyway I just want you to know I have a woman friend coming to stay with me from the US for a few days, so u will to have to spend more time with the kids. I told him why are u telling me that tell whoever u have right now, he replied u need to know cause ure my kids mother. He is so heartless. But am not gon count in today in my no contact schedule he spoiled it, seems like I'll have to stop taking his calls. He always says something to hurt me even more.
Re: The devil is so bad hr: Congratulations to both of you. This is a huge step in the healing process. I didn't talk to mine and when he called I never answered it the first time. He had to call back or leave a message. The no contact works wonders if the phone calls hurt the healing process. I kept track of the days because it helped me see how much progress I was making. I went from waiting by the phone wishing it would ring to dreading it to ring then not caring at all.

Re: The devil is so bad Trish: I have kids too with mine. 3 girls in fact but they are old enough to make their own decissions. 14,12,10. They all have their own cell phones so he can talk to them anytime he chooses. Anything major he can ask me. I'm 4 days clean if you don't count the text message he sent "Coming today at 4 to see the girls". I replied "They will be here". I think that's the only type of contact needed with your ex. Besides, what the hell else do you talk about with them? OH I know, I want my leaf blower back.

the very last contact i had with her, was (i had to go to a day counter to get this)
577 Days -- or -- 82 Weeks and 3 Days
and, i only had 3 contacts with her in
640 Days -- or -- 91 Weeks and 3 Days
so, just so you know, it is possible, i have as normal as kids as you can have, given the situation. i have a contact that takes care of everything needed. very little contact is needed the way my decree is set up, so its possible. gooood luck!!!!
