Thanks SO MUCH for coming back on these boards and letting us know that you made it through and are living life again. I'm pretty much in the middle of the darkest times I've ever experienced, and have a really hard time believing that my life will be worth living anytime soon. So it is great to hear from a survivor that you can be happy again (hearing my counselor say it over and over just doesn't cut it...) I'm taking all your advice too :)

Re: 6 Months Out and Many Lessons Learned dontgetit: interesting the names on the board are very different from the dark days when I was on every day... I think that in on of itself speaks volumes - you wont need the constant support that you do today... I rarely come on here now, but occassionally take a peak and will continue to post the "great" things that happen to me... For those who do not know my story check out my threads - my life was a horror story, funny thing is somewhere along the line I became the man I was "pre" my wife... What I mean is I am no longer beaten up and feel the same way I did about life as I did as a teenager - full of hope and excitement for the future... I think my many threads will show that a year ago I was in a much different place... FYI if you are waiting for your spouse to "see the light" dont bother - not that any of you "hopefuls" want to hear this but my ex is still with the man she ran off with last year (she only knew him for 3 weeks)... moral of the story is for some it works - I now thank the man daily for taking this woman off my hands... As a closing note I have been seeing an amazing woman for a few months now - so for all of you there is someone else out there who will value, love and respect you... KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT!!!
