Am I thinking about this the wrong way? alonewith2: I come home to an answering machine message from the stbx asking me to send some pictures of both the kids to his email address because he wants to add them to his new myspace page.
Frankly, I don't want to do it. For the following reasons:
1. Why can't he take his own pictures? He can't give me money for half the divorce. I'm forced to pay for the damn thing on my own. But he managed to buy a new computer. So why can't he save money for a digital camera (even a cheap ass one) and take his own damn pictures?!!
2. I checked out his myspace page. He's going the route of World's Greatest Dad. I really don't want to play into that false realism thing he's got going on. If he really cared about his daughter that much, why was he out at the bar Saturday night instead of home with her? It was his weekend with her. Why hire a babysitter so you can go drink if you really thought of yourself as the BEST DAD EVER?!!!!
3. I checked out his girlfriend's myspace page. She has pictures of him that were taken during the time my stbx and I were together. Which means he's given her pictures of him to post on her page. Fine, I have no problems with that. But what I really don't want to see is pictures of my kids on her page.
4. My son is not his son. He walked out on his role as stepdad. Instead he replaced that role with one of broken promises, heartbreak, insecurity issues, abandonment issues, let down, etc...
So am I wrong in not wanting to send him pictures of the kids? Should I just do it to be the nice person? Or do I have valid reasons for not wanting to do this?

He could always get his sister or one of his friends to take pictures of her on his weekends....oh wait, I guess that would mean he'd have to sit home and actually watch her. ::)
