That’s absolutely right. You’ve got to remember who the “good one” is. And there will come a time, when others will recognize that good person in you. It’s always unfortunate that our ex’s don’t. Most of the time they never do, we just have to move on to another person that will and treat us accordingly. Keep your chin up, there are brighter days ahead! :)

Re:I thought this would pass sarao525: I had a panic attack on the way home from vacation yesterday. My s2bx had his 10 year hs reunion. I was worried what he would say to others about our divorce. My friend said he didn't say much, he didn't even mention his daughter by the ow. Or even the ow. I felt so much better when I heard that. I hope we can be civil at joint events.
Re:I thought this would pass Beren: It's probably a defense mechanism. I haven't entirely given up hope for reconciliation, but I think about it less and less. Maybe if you gave it up all at once, it'd be too much to bear, so you have to do it in stages.
At least you can take some comfort in that you're normal.
