Florida -- Here I Come!!!! ChristyM: Geez -- It's been forever since I've actually started a thread ...
I am leaving today and heading (moving) to Florida! I should have Internet service the beginning of next week.
This is a big deal for me (the move, not the Internet connection) since I've grown up and lived in Indiana all my life. It will be hard to leave everyone and the life that is so familiar to me, but this is a huge step in the right direction to changing my life. Divorce causes tons of introspection and I realized the person I was wasn't the person I wanted to be.
As I've said in previous posts, I was able to find someone that makes me very happy. For those of you that were around several months ago, you might be interested to know that wonderful person is Ojar's own lovable Bit Pusher ("bp"). Yes, he is still alive and kicking down on his "rock" in the Virgin Islands and he's doing well. I've tried to convince him to come back and post some of his infamous vents but so far ... no luck.
Anyway, I'll be back online the beginning of next week ... You all hang in there.

I wish you all the best in sunny Florida & with BP. I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon enough & you can tell us all about the wonderful weather, especially a few months from now when you're still nice & warm and we're all freezing in the snow!

I sometimes wonder if I had the opportunity, would I move to another state? I just don’t know. But the thought on completely starting over somewhere else is kind of appealing.

My ex bought back all the large furniture from my apartment (stuff I got in the divorce and it seemed weird he was paying me for his stuff :)) and we had a garage sale last weekend to get rid of the remainder. My life has been reduced to 6 boxes that are currently being stored down at my parent's house. It feels great to not have all the stuff to cart around with me. We will be staying in a furnished condo on Long Boat Key so we are only going down with what fits in the car. We are VERY excited!!!! I feel like I am finally in charge of my life and it's great. Plus, the weather here today is dreary and rainy so sunny weather, here we come.
