devine intervention kimberly: I never thought I'd set foot in a church again (i was never religious) but I felt I needed some spiritual help. I can't tell you how great I felt afterwards. For one hour, I can focus on something more important and significant than me and my problems. There are bigger things in this world and I have SO much to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family an adorable child, great carreer, friends, pets and many hobbies and interests. I suddenly felt foolish and selfish for allowing myself to get so low over a failed marriage. I feel so much more optimistic and I don't feel so alone anymore.
Everything that happens in our lives happens for a reason, we may not understand the reason but HE does. It's devine intervention, there is something WAY better out there just waiting to present itself.
Re: devine intervention jannette Garcia: That's great torn. Thanks for sharing.
Me and my boyfriend just recently started going to church and it has helped us a lot, so no we're back to being together and happy and our daughter is way happier.
Re: devine intervention katelyn: Yes. Being taught the principles of the Bible is hands down the only thing that ever gets me out of a funk. And applying them to your life always works. Good for you, girl.
Re: devine intervention grendalkhan: GAWD (no pun intended) - I went to church last Sunday tryng to find guidance to get thru this - there really isn't any. All I got from the experience was the minister bashing gays in his sermon.

Yikes! Sounds like you're going to the wrong church. Try an Episcopalian church or is it Church of Christ? The last time I was looking for a new church I went to one where the minister spent the whole sermon complaining about how excited Americans were about the World Cup (back when it was here). Yeah, that was the only time I went to that church.
