Update on my heartbreak lusciouslips30: It's been over a week now since I have not contacted my ex. He had a woman visiting from New York for four days last week, not once did he call me to ask about the kids while she was there. As soon as she leaves, he calls or texts me at least once per day asking something about the kids. I always respond abruptly by just using yes and no answers, and never stops on the phone to have idle chat. Sometimes it's very hard though cause I get lonely at times and the urge arises making me want to reach out and call him, when that happens I turn off my both my home and cell phones. Right now there are several guys that want to go out with me, but deep down I am scared cause I feel as if sometimes there might be a chance of us getting back, but I know thats terribly wrong and stupid of me. Cause I know I have to be strong and move on. It's very hard sometimes though.
Re: Update on my heartbreak drtbone5: Sounds like you are doing a great job with the no contact. With respect to going out with other guys: you'll be able to do it when you are ready. There is no rush nor is there a timetable as to when you should. The most important thing is to keep taking care of yourself and your children.
