Is it cheating?????? galil: If you tried everything you could to save the marriage and in the end they go ahead and call a lawyer and lock you out of the house only to say they would leave your clothes on the front porch for you to fetch like a dog.
They file and are moving on.
So if I want to go out and have some fun be it here or out of town and move on with my life, well is that cheating? She filed and we have a court date for next week. Fun meaning being intimate with another person mind you.
I did not go out and do that my first trip around and I am not sure it did any good. I guess it did, but this time around I don't want to live in the past forever like I did with my first one.
I am not asking anyone to co-sign my crap at all. I just want your honest opinon. Keep in mind I do not want to get involved in a long term commitment, I am just exploring a different avenue than my first trip around. ???
Re: Is it cheating?????? C-Note: Dude don't worry about it. From your description I don't see anything wrong. You got your clothes.. Good dog. ;D
And she's got the lawyer... I'd not worry. going out or not will be great when your not having to try and just let good things come naturally.
That make sense?
Re: Is it cheating?????? RSGinATX: I wouldn't call it cheating...but, i'm not the presiding judge! Technically, it is, of course, and could possibly be used in the divorce. However, IMO, if the other party has gone so far as to physically separate and officially declare their intent to dissolve and cease support of the marriage compact then I wouldn't see it as cheating. Cheating would require a partner to cheat on and she's already done everything in her power to stop being your partner.
I would still suggest against it until you can truly feel there's no spite in it..or the divorce is final whichever comes first. Keep in mind that you'll be bringing another person into your affairs, if even briefly. Think about what effect your actions might have on them before you jump in the sack.
Re: Is it cheating?????? kitkat: *edit* misread
Meh that's up to you.
If your state has adultry laws I would be careful though.
Re: Is it cheating?????? galil: Nah no adultry laws here. My sate is a no fault state. Her or I could have had hundreds of affairs and it woud not effect the divorce.
I never cheated on her or any other woman for that matter. I have some guys and gals I fly with that have been pushing me to go out and sow some wild oats so to speak. I have never gone that route but as long as I dont ivolve hem in my sons life (ie) keep them away from him, I am thinking it may be ok.
Now keep in mind I am not planning anything to happen at all. I have finaly come to the conclusion I am a very attractive man and find myself getting hit on when I am in a relationship. I never act on it at all.
I want to start going out and having a good time. She threw me to the curb so I guess I should not feel guilty even though were are still "legaly married". she is happy so why the hell should I not have happiness as well.
Oh yah I forgot to mention I got to see my son yesterday ;D
He is walking now :'( I missed his first steps. That was the thing I wanted to see most out of his growing up. You know when you know there going to fall, and you cant but help to want to catch them.
I had to sneak to daycare. My lawyer said just go ahead and go we dont have to even ask her. I wish she would have told me that on his b-day. then I could have seen him.
Oh yah my point to the above, she showed up to daycare. New haircut, jeans painted on, and caked on makeup. So needless to say I am sure she is out having a good time already.
So I guess I shoud not feel guilty going out and having a good time. If something happens I guess I will go with the flow. who knows I just think it is time to move on and have my own fun ;D
