Re: Is it cheating?????? kitkat: It really depends on what YOU see as the end of the marriage. For some it's not until they receive the paperwork stating they are no longer married. For others the marriage end when one or both parties say it's over (the legal end being just a formality).

If you're among the first group you will feel guilty. If you're among the 2nd you won't. It's your call.  ;)
Re: Is it cheating?????? sheeps: Cheating is a very casual term. If you are married, no matter what the circumstances, no matter how callous or how many times your stbx has had affairs. If you have sex with another person while you are married, you are comitting adultery. Period.

Legally that's true. However, if you view the marriage as ending before the legal process happens then it is not adulterous on a personal level. Some divorces take years to be finalized. I can see both sides of this.

I disagree. If your partner has made it clear that the relationship is over then I feel all bets are off.
Re: Is it cheating?????? tirisfal: I dunno I see both sides of this issue as well.  I didn't want to date until it was legally final.  However, my ex was all into it ASAP.
