Re: Update on my situation- I finally stod up for myself faraday: Yes I know how you feel- it would be nice wouldn't it? but unfortunately, that is not to be at least yet- I don't care if the car is nice as long as it is safe and the engine is good- and as for the house, at this point I don't care if it is house or apartment or what- but if I am gonna heal, it has to start soon- but if there is anything left over, I may splurge a little ;)
But it is true I am my own Santa from now on- and that is cool in a way cause now I don't have to ask any one else, if I want it and can afford it, I will, you know?

I am so happy that you did this...I know it took a lot for you to get to this point, I am just so proud of you. You really did the right thing....he won't be having you as his doormat anymore. I bet he was shocked that you stood up to him, he probably didn't know what to think about that.
This is such a big deal Far, you are really going to be ok...see, you've already made the first step!
