WTF is up with women? darkrose: So I was trolling the POF boards as I often do when I'm bored at work..and I came across a particular post from a woman..the post wasn't important, but I nailed about 1/2 of her interests just by looking at her little avatar icon..it was pretty scary. So anyway, I sent her a short note basically saying "hey, I can tell you're an artist by your pics in your profile.." and my standard check out my profile, let's get to know each other type message.. we shared a lot of interests.. you know, new online buddy (lives 5+ hours away from me)..
Anyway, so I have this other female friend I've been talking to a lot lately and I have indeed expressed interest..and was shut down with the "I have a boyfriend" thing. She's seeing some guy, and I really didn't bother to express the degree of interest. No big deal..she's taken and that's all I need to know. :) So I sent her the profile and I was like "wow, she seems interesting" and I get this whole "I don't understand how you can meet all these girls and be interested in me" thing. She accused me of playing games. WTF! She has a boyfriend and all I've done is really talk about stupid stuff..nothing really important..just chit-chat..you know?
It's weird, she's totally down with the 'date' thing I have tonight (unlike the stbxw), but she goes nuts when I send her a POF profile? geez...WTF!!

But... you may get your answer as to how 'involved' she is with her 'boyfriend'. If she makes another comment like that, I'd call her on it. Lets see how 'unintersted she really is in you.

Well it's not so much that she's uninterested, she never gave me a straight answer. I asked her if she'd want to go out with me sometime, and she responded with "I'm seeing someone". Not yes, not no..just "I'm seeing someone".
I did kind of call her on it, I asked her why she was acting so jealous..and she avoided the question. The funny thing is she's the one that encouraged me to really join POF and even helped me tweak my profile a bit.. she also has encouraged me to get out and meet new people, date, and all that stuff..I think maybe she just thinks the POF woman is more attractive than her or something..who knows.. my friend isn't talking to me right now, the last thing she did was text me to say "we'll talk later.." so I don't know. Maybe she's just having a bad day or something.
