Re: A letter came in the mail tirisfal: Wow flygirl.  :o

Waiting it out is a great idea.  I know I am a reactionary person too often and would say something I didn't quite  ;) mean.

I really like Lumpy's idea though.  Tell her to have fun with him...not to feel bad for you, she may need it for herself  ;D
Re: A letter came in the mail drowned: Fly just tell her 3 words.....  Enjoy my Leftovers!

Re: A letter came in the mail TarheelMike: You know what I'd say already, so I won't say anything else here.
Re: A letter came in the mail newts: Wow,

Are they still together? If they are still together it wont last for very long!

Guilt is a very strong emotion... if she feels the guilt that she says she does it wont be long before their relationship will start to suffer.
Re: A letter came in the mail flyaway: newts, they've been together for 3 years already.  It seems as though it's a long term, permanent thing.  Although lately, we've seen personal testamonies of how karma often comes back to bite folks in the rear...

I really don't care if this happens or not.  My first concern is my girls.  I really don't want them suffering another loss in their young lives.  So, for their sake, I hope it works out for them.  Really.  I do.  I certainly don't want him back.  ::)

I have been tossing around the idea of letting her know his history with the marriage thing, though.  I know I don't owe her, and it would be more ummm sweeter to let her figure it out herself, but I kinda wanted to warn her.  :o

he was cheating on me 6 months into the marriage, and I stayed with him just over 10 years.

He insists that she knows all his dirty laundry.  But I wonder.  I think that anything I say might be discredited simply because "I'm the evil ex wife who drove him to  his life of desperate secrecy and deception".    ::)

I don't know....what do you guys think?

I think she's being sincere.  The tone of the letter was very sincere.

from all my limited dealings with her....she's come across as very nice, actually.  Of course, she's in no way as hawt as me, but we can't fault her for that.  :D
