I wish I knew why you had left me. I wish I understood. You told me we weren't compatible, yet that is a lie. You couldn't even say it with a straight face. You couldn't look me in the eye when you said that you didn't love me anymore.
I know that the situation we were in was hard. I know it was a "bad time". It was YOU who said that we should try to get through the good times and the bad right?
Everything good you said about our relationship, you undid when you left. You told me you felt like a mother to my son, yet you were willing to abandon him without anyone knowing why.
When I was going to move to Haverhill, you were upset and you wanted to move in with me. I said I didn't think it was a good idea. I wanted to be on my own and be solely responsible for bringing my son back home. I talked to you for days about it, telling you how big of a financial responsibility it was to me to bring him back. I told you that i was putting my life in your hands. I told you that even outside of our relationship, we would have to fulfill our financial and legally bound responsibilities. But not only did you leave me, you left me with an apartment I can't afford. Not only may I lose my home, I am going to now lose my son in the process.
We were supposed to sit down and talk on Saturday the 21st. You were going to tell me what you were thinking and how you felt. That never happened. I came home for lunch on friday, and poof you were packing. You had already rented a truck, forwarded your mail. You didn't even give me the full two weeks. You didn't even get me a chance to find a roommate, or to find another place to live. When the rent is due, I can't pay it, and I'm screwed.
After all of the good times we had, and the love we shared, this is the way you are going to leave it. Unresolved. No Answers. No Closure. I have no idea why you left me. I have no idea why you treated me this way after we had been so happy for so long. We were still talking about marriage two days before you broke up with me.
You completely excommunicated me from your life, without any reason why. There was nothing clean and respectful about it. I felt treated like an animal or a dog, kicked out of the house to sleep in the cold. I felt abandoned and left reeling for understanding.
I feel like I have been punished for a crime I didn't commit.
