When you are new at first, it's kinda hard to help out. When people first sign on, they aren't necessarily looking to help someone out, they are looking for support. Pain and depression are fairly selfish disorders.
I don't think it's a matter of intelligence or wisdom as much as it is experience.
I certainly have no clue what to do about my situation, but I try to come here every day and make a few people feel better.
I don't necessarily feel like anyone is solving my problems for me, but I do feel like people are supportive and they care about whether or not I eventually become happy. Sometimes the advice isn't all that great, but the fact that someone is trying is what matters to me the most.
Lack of effort, in my opinion, is what causes most relationships to fail. As sad as it may be, the person who cares the least, holds the most power... and unfortunately that means they often quit when we think they should push on.
Maybe knowing that someone is willing to put the effort into us is something that helps rekindle the healing process in ourselves. Even if that effort is just to get us through another hour, another day or to the next smile.

However, they soon get replaced my new members who are experiencing the pain of their loss. Who wants to be on this site for the rest of your life if you dont really need it? I wish everyone on here could start feeling better and stop using this sight today.
Furthermore, you need to take some of the words you read on here with a grain of salt. You have no idea who most of these people really are anyway. The site is free and of course you are going to have some idiots on here poking some fun, but if it gets out of control they give them the boot.
PS. Its probably not a good idea to draw more attention to yourself with a post like this if people are messing with ya!

Wow. You gave the old OJarians two whole hours to respond? And in the early morning hours, too, when some people aren't awake yet. Might we be just a tad bit impatient for responses? There are a lot of people who have been here for quite awhile that are still supporting people and offering advice. Look around and you'll find them.

We are not hear to correct eachothers spelling or put people down.... Some may find humour in a word spelt wrong and just laugh which may help them deal with whatever, but you have to brush people with no advice or the ones checking your spelling off a bit....
I beleive everyone here has an experience of somesort and need help for what their problem might be and people answereing back should only answer back if it's to help and not put down or make fun!
