Re: Gay Marriage Phyxius: As long as it is something the GOP can use to scare the Religeous Right back in line it will never happen.

And I'm still looking for that scripture that says "Thall shalt use any means necessary to control both houses of Congress, because the Lord, thy God is on your side and your side only." Can someone help me find it?
Re: Gay Marriage kimberly: Love is love, who are we to judge what package our souls come in.

Re: Gay Marriage tirisfal: Living in the state where Civil Unions take place for homosexuals instead of marriages, I have to say I am for gay marriage.  Civil Unions are a bunch of crap.  It's saying ok, you are seperate but equal...I think this country has made that mistake before....
Re: Gay Marriage Melbel: Crystal I could not agree with you more!  The sad thing is this type of descrimination is swept under the rug and ignored.

A society we are saying you are good enough to buy a house, share money, pay taxes even have kids together....but NO way are you allowed to get married.  Marriage is something shared with two people who love each other and their commitment to work day in and day out to make the other happy!  Why should that be limited to just a man and a woman??

Just my feelings on the topic.
Re: Gay Marriage 2be: In my opinion "traditional" often just means "closed-minded."  Marriage only for one male and one female makes it as shallow as basic human reproduction.  Marriage = kids, period.  It doesn't equal love... just gives them the "holy" thumbs up to reproduce. So if THAT is the case, I say that men and women who DON'T want kids can't get married either.

Marriage is about LOVE, not just a license to reproduce.  GOD = LOVE.  God doesn't care which souls love each other, just that His love is spread.

So if you haven't guessed... I am ALL FOR gay marriage.
