Getting ready to take my kids back to the EX newman4ever: Well...for those of you who know me, I've had my kids living with me here in the Dominican Rep. for the past 2 months. The time has come for me to return them to their Mom in Florida. It was a great (although exhausting) 2 months. I think we all had a great time together and hopefully, my kids will have some fond memories of this adventure.
I hate to admit it, but as much as I love my kids, I'll be glad to get my freedom back. Since they came here, I had to completely revamp my lifestyle to accomodate them. Not that I minded doing it, after all, I'd do anything for them. But it did tend to get a bit stressfull at times and made me appreciate the freedom my divorce has given me just a bit more than I already had.
So we're flying to Miami this Friday and we're going out for dinner Friday night with their Mom. Then we're gonna hang out together and maybe watch a movie or play some gamecube. Then I'll say my goodbyes to them, tuck them into bed, and bid my ex farewell until my next visit to FL. The ex & I actually get along very well these days (something I very happy about because fighting just sucks) Its should be a nice night, then when I split her place, I'm off to South Beach to party the night away and enjoy some of that freedom I've been lacking for the past 2 months.
