Re: I've read countless stories Spike: I know what you're thinking, dude. They said it could work, I should do this, give her the chance. DON'T DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!! It will bite you in the ass. Cut bait, and move on.

I second that.
Re: I've read countless stories Spike: We may be biased, and a little bitter for this, Cringe. I'll PM you a couple of sites that are geared towards reconciliation, hopefully they help.
Good Luck either way. Keep us updated.
Re: I've read countless stories allmusic76: I believe in reconciliation.
To be honest, the whole reason I visit this site is the worthlessness i felt about not getting a chance to reconcile. I don't have anything as elaborate as a cheating gf or an abusive person. She just left without warning or explanation. I feel rotten about the fact that if there was something wrong, she never let on about it, and then she pretty much left over it without giving me any indication.
I believe everyone deserves another chance.... as long as the act is forgiveable... deep in your heart. If they have done something that will prevent you from seeing them in a loving manner ever again... then I suppose there really isn't anything you can do about it.
However, if over time it is something that can be resolved and forgiven.... then I believe that we owe ourselves, and our mates the effort to reconcile. That's part of what belonging to a relationship and committing to someone is about.
