Separation over and done with! Mr Nice Guy: Well it didn't happen today, but last week the papers were signed, the mortgage was renewed, I bought her out on the apartment for $14,000 (it went up in value about $30,000 last year, and its still goin' up!:D ), paid off $13,000 I had in credit debt, re-financed my car for lower monthly payments, and I have about $2,000 left over!
So basically I just turned myself around financially, the STBXW can't ask me for anything else, and I might actually be able to start saving money soon instead of getting into so much debt.
On top of that, I get to keep the apartment! If the value keeps going up I should be able to sell it in about a year (if I want) and make tons of cash!!
Feels good to be in a position that 3 months ago I wasn't going to be in for several years. I can finally start worrying about normal stuff again! Woohoo!
