Re: Horrible Opinions of Others. JimB: Yep.  I've got a friend who is dating a woman 20 years his senior (fine) whose kids are closer to him in age than she is (fine but marginal) and is attractive but annoying (not so good).  Plus, he's "city" and she's "suburban".  I had her pegged the first time I met her.  He can do way better.

I will also occasionally pre-judge couples based on a big difference in how attractive I consider each of them relative to the other.  Bad JimB!  :P
Re: Horrible Opinions of Others. C-Note: JimB,  Bingo!  I should not gauge his choice for a mate by what I consider attractive, but geez I couldn't look at his wife straight on for extended periods of time.

The question "What do you see in her?"  Was always on the tip of my tongue, but I never said it.

Re: Horrible Opinions of Others. katelyn: I have an impeccable gut instinct in regards to my first impression of people. It's a little freaky really. I'm rarely wrong but it does happen. I don't call it judging, I call it discernment. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, as long as you're being obejective (considering good and bad) and not just a bitch about it.
