How many times have you seen the 'Heels play? I saw them play at Georgia Tech in '97. I took my then GF for Valentine's. It was what she wanted more than anything. She was a huge fan. Tech led for nearly the entire game but UNC came back and won right at the end.
It'll be interesting to see if Duke and UK end up ranked at the end of the year as relatively low as they are now.

Ah, the game where we were 16 down with like three minutes left and rallied to win. Good times. Then the next year at the Thriller Dome... Carolina wins in OT when Shammond Williams goes for FORTY TWO POINTS!
I've been to Chapel Hill to see them play four times, 2-2 with wins over Clemson and Virginia and losses in an exhibition to the Soviet national team right before the fall of communism in Russia...
...and the second and most heartbreaking loss, and also the last game I've seen the Heels play in person was January 27, 1991, Super Sunday. And the Heels were hosting [cough"> Georgia Tech[/cough"> and lost when Rick Fox's baseline layup - the same play they had used to upset Oklahoma in the Tournament the year before - was waved off at the buzzer when the refs ruled he did not release the ball in time. As an eight year old boy, I cried leaving the Smith Center.
