Re: LIES LIES LIES!!!! ALL LIES!!! allmusic76: hi alone... Im kinda in the same boat. Melissa was the queen of the unspoken word.

I know exactly what you are going through. It's a trust thing. I had a gf once who was literally a lie factory. I felt like they should have put her mouth in the circus to see the amazing lying woman.

Afterwards, I was the same way. I'd question everything anyone said.
It is a sucky habit, and it takes a while to get rid of. For me, it was just a matter of time.
Re: LIES LIES LIES!!!! ALL LIES!!! allmusic76: lol it's ok... thinking back at some of the crap she spewed off... it is funny.

Dishonesty has been a consistent trait in the women I have dated.

It's hard to just stop when it was something ingrained into me over the course of the past 7 years.

The guy I'm dating now catches me doing it all the time.  I'm trying really hard not to, but it's like second nature.  Hopefully, I can relearn how not to do it.  :-\
Re: LIES LIES LIES!!!! ALL LIES!!! allmusic76: Well... sometimes the best way to solve something is to get to the root of the problem.

that doesn't really apply here, but we can break the problem down so it's more manageable. Trying to trust or believe in everything someone says is fairly difficult. So break it up into statements. Try to think about each individual thing someone says, rather than stringing together the whole conversation.
