Can the week get worse? ATLfoodie: This week has sucked. Thursday I had an accident in the warehouse and threw my back out and Friday my jeep was hit by a hit and run driver. The jackass who hit me didn't stop or leave a note or try to find out who the car belonged to. I was in the back in the warehouse so I didn't hear a thing. Only when my boss came in did I find out about it. Got the police report filled out and there is nothing they can do. Ny Jeep is 10 years old so I had cancelled the collision part of my insurance and just carried liability. My deductable for uninsured motorists is around $1500 (need to check my policy). And with my jeep that old, it may not be worth fixing. The estimate today was around $2500. Guess I may have to go buy a new car.
