My cousin's life is looking good!! superwife: My cousin separated from her first husband about 4 years ago. He had a lot of mental health issues. I know some people felt she should have stuck with him, but he was making her life a living hell. She never really seemed happy with him...always stressed, on edge. I often wondered why she married him in the first place.
But anyway, it took her four years to go through the divorce process. In the meantime, she fell in love with another man (yes, she was still legally married). She was engaged to this man before the divorce was final. She lost a ton of weight, and seemed so happy with this guy. She planned her wedding before the divorce was final. I won't say how long she was actually legally divorced before she got remarried (she cut it real close). This was the wedding I was stressing over not having a date for over the summer...and went stag.
So anyway, my mom calls me up yesterday to tell me that my daughter will have a new 'cousin'. She is pregnant!!! I am so happy for her. I don't think she would have ever had a baby with the first husband (which would have been for the best, IMO). SHe'll be 35 a month before the baby is due.
And yes, she was pregnant before she got married...which means she was still legally married to #1. But who the hell am I to judge?? (we're not white trash, I swear :D). I am so happy for her. Things have finally fallen into place for her. There's hope for all of us.
