Re: Dating?? 2be: I have... dated a few women, most of which never went beyond the first date. :)  But I met a fantastic woman and are going on three months now.  No red flags anywhere to be seen.
Re: Dating?? kN3eLb4Z0d: Divorced 10 years.  Dates in 10 years, 0.  Prospects, 0.  Am I good enough to date?  According to several women, no.

Re: Dating?? l0progression: I started 'dating' immediately after the separation. I was not looking for emotional commitment at the time though. Now, I have moved on considerably and am looking at entertaining the idea of a relationship and regular dating.

I recommend random hookups with no strings attached after the breakup for distractions, though obviously many would disagree on moral grounds. It really helps though, and those who've actually gone through it would agree. What I wouldn't recommend is dating with the intention of creating emotional bonds or seeking a relationship right after a breakup.
Re: Dating?? kimberly: I jumped the gun and decided to go on a few set-up's only to discover how not ready I am.  It's hard to act interested in them or what they're saying when you can't stop thinking about your ex and what(or who) THEY are doing.  It's just sucks.  I wonder if I'll ever be ready.
Re: Dating?? loudshirt: I am trying to start dating again and it is really scarey.  I dont want to hurt anyone or be hurt myself.  I dont have much of a clue as to what I am doing.  I try to apply all the things that I learned help destroy my marrige but I dont want to be obsessive so I have to go real slow and try and keep my mind off of everything.
