Re: A real ojar wedding photo teacherwriterguy: Thank you for your warm wishes. :) The day was a little colder than we'd hoped. We wanted to do the wedding outside, but moved it inside. It was pretty small - 50 people - but that was okay. :)
The new house is good. Lots of housework and repairs. We've already done furnace, a/c, some electrical, a bathroom, siding, and more. TWGFB is an expert painter - she's painted the bedroom and the bathroom. I learned how to install light fixtures.
For the person who asked - we did meet on here. It wasn't what either one of us was expecting or looking for, but we didn't question it. For two normally cautious people, it was quite a leap - but so far so good. :)
Mini-TWG has started 1st grade - we found a private school that would admit her even though she didn't meet the Illinois age cutoff. I'm adjusting to the hour-long commute to work getting ready to go back to graduate school for my educational administrator certificate. And TWGFB is starting down the pathway to become a post-partum doula.
TWGFB has been sad - Mini-TWG is starting to lose her southern twang and pick up some northern accents. You should hear her say, "Chi-cah-go..." Oh - since someone asked about the house - a picture or two:

Glad to see some names I remember. And - as always - thank you again and again to Michael for building a place like this. Of course it was a blessing to find TWGFB here, but more than that, it was just having a place to come to when I wasn't sure where to go.
