love vs. attachment brielle123: Just a curious thought...
As I read all these posts, mine included, we all talk about how we LOVE the one that left us and we are hurting so badly and most of the times we are talking about how we would do anything to get them back....are we really in love...or are we just attached to the relationship?
How can you tell the difference ???
Re: love vs. attachment 2be: That is why it is important to take time (sometimes a LOT) off by yourself... no new relationships, etc. That allows you to become comfortable with your single-ness and breaks any "attachment" you have left.
Once you're okay on your own and can reflect on teh whole of your past relationship, you'll be able to see clearly if it is/was love or just trying to desperately hang on.
